RÓŻA WIKTORIA is a photographer and creative director working across portraiture, publishing, and installation. She has spent over ten years in the darkroom, printing by hand in silver gelatin.
She has been commissioned by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, TIME Magazine, Dior, Fear of God, Sony Music, and CAP74024. Her portrait of Amy Sherald, published in TIME's Women of the Year issue, was later shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.
She studied Fashion Communication and Promotion at Central Saint Martins. As a Nikon creator she teaches at Nikon School, has guest lectured at London College of Fashion, and exhibited Presence as Form with the Nikon Gallery at Photo London.
She is currently undertaking a Master of Research in Architecture at the Royal College of Art, where her interests span the body's relationship to structure, the spatiality of situation, and how humans have built dwellings across cultures and millennia. The research is ongoing, and it increasingly shapes how she approaches the image.
